American Charter Schools’ Demand and Supply Case Study

Minnesota was the first state in the United States of America that established the formation of the laws governing the administration of charter schools in the early 90s. The establishment of the first charter school was, therefore, one in the early 90s in Minnesota. The charter schools increment was directly proportional to the increased number of students who favored chartered schools from normal public schools.

The analysis of the performance of the charter schools to that of the public and traditional schools illustrated that the performance of the charter schools was exemplary as compared to the low rates of performance in the traditional schools. The students that schooled in charter schools had higher chances of joining higher education. However, minimum students from the traditional schools passed their examinations to further their studies and earn high school positions.

The high rates of development of charter schools in the American education sector illustrate the general trust bestowed on charter schools from parents, government, and students. Missouri adopted the charter laws in 1998 with the aim of establishing better education facilities and curriculum for the various students in the development of prosperous students in the form of leaders, business associates, investors, and other relevant qualities of educated and well-informed citizens.

The charter laws were facilitated by the fact that the charter schools performed diligently, and there were minimal charges involved. In addition, there were no discrimination and prejudice practices in charter schools. The analysis of the performance of the charter schools to that of the public and traditional schools illustrated that the performance of the charter schools was exemplary compared to the low rates of performance in the traditional schools. The establishment and realization of charter schools, therefore, produced room for proper education facilities regardless of age, social status, and political or ethnic background.

Significant improvements have been established through the facilitation of charter schools in various states in the United States of America. Therefore, there have been improved levels of education from the establishment of charter schools in various states and regions in America. Similarly, the number of students and parents seeking charter schools has increased over time due to the performance levels of charter schools.

The issuing of promising results and gaining knowledge is usually the main objective sort after in education. The demand for charter schools, therefore, outweighs the supply due to increased attraction to the charter schools. The demand for charters outweighs the available supply of the required positions in the established schools. The number of current charter schools in American states is less than the number of students willing to study and enroll in the schools. This indicates that there is a need for more schools in the American states to cater for the increased number of willing and able students.

In conclusion, there are several factors that lead to the closure and termination of charter schools. Allocation of money, the satisfaction of parents, student’s participation, and mismanagement of allocated funds are some of the factors that limit the development of charter schools. The closure of charter schools results in increased demand due to the limited number of charter schools in America. The individual performance of charter schools attracts more enrollments leading to increased demand for education facilities and services where there are low supplies of teachers and infrastructures.
