The term Ancient Greece is related to the years 700-480 B.C., also called Classical Age. Ancient Greek History represented various events that considerably impacted on future course of events. Ancient Greece was home for most of the famous personalities of the ancient world. Adhikari et al. (2019b) states that famous mathematics, philosophers, and architectures were most significant figures of Ancient Greece. For example, famous mathematics and architectures who invented the concepts of geometry such as Pythagoras, Euclid, and Archimedes created an ultimate ground for the development of science and technologies (Adhikari et al., 2019b). While philosophers such as Plato, Aristotle, and Socrates have found the concepts of philosophy. Along with influential scientific figures, the greatest military figures and generals, such as Leonidas I and Alexander the Great also played crucial role in Ancient Greek society.

The introduction of Olympic Games was one of the most significant events in Ancient Greek History. According to Adhikari et al. (2019a), the ancient Olympic Games was a religious festival in honor of the Zeus, the ruler of Olympia. The first Olympic Games took place in 776 B.C. near the city of Elis (Sakoulas, n.d). At the beginning competitions included only a foot race, gradually program included 23 contests (Adhikari et al., 2019a). The importance of this event is that the Olympic Games present in modern day society.
