There are many problems facing this city which have been known for a long period. The city is known for defaulting debts because of depression that has hit the city in the recent past. In some instances, it was ranked as one of the miserable cities in America.

The city has been greatly mentioned for its high unemployment rate, high rate of taxes, extreme weather conditions, and grand corruption by many government officials (Carey, 2010).
