Websites might be bad for business for a number of reasons. One of the reasons is the fact that they might not be able to fully show the real capabilities of a company especially if poorly designed.
Many small businesses for instance prefer to do cheap websites in a mission to save money which in the long run ends up costing the business more that they had ever anticipated. This is particularly due to the fact that customers or viewers of a website a very hasty decisions on whether to stay or leave a site hence any slight sign of dislike of a site is a leave call for them, hence a poorly designed website if detrimental to a business

Another reason as to why websites might be bad for a business is lack proper website optimisation. This means that a website is poorly delivered. For a local company for instance the term optimisation essentially means that the website is configured towards real business prospects which incorporates a use of the right vocabulary used to describe the products as well as the services offered by the company hence capturing the attention of people looking for solutions.
