It will directly benefit the communities as they will be able to access the field for exercises to minimize exposure to accidents resulting from road runs and attacks by criminals. The community will own the facility, but it will be rented out to league teams who wish to utilize it for gaming activities and training. The sporting complex will also employ people within the community and will only outsource skills not found within the community. It will help create employment. By employing youths within the area, the complex will help fight crime as youths will be able to find a source of income.

Facility Location

The facility will be built in Miami, situated in the southeastern part of Florida at the mouth of the Miami River. The facility to be built in the area is significant to the community and the visitors. Most of the facilities within the region are either owned by institutions or by private individuals, leaving the community with no choice for leisure for the members who love participating in sports. The area also hosts serious sporting events, attracting several people every year. The city hosts major teams: the Miami Heat Basketball team, Miami Marlins, a baseball team within the region, and the Miami Dolphins, a major football team. These teams have won a major championship, classifying the city as a major sporting city.

The city is chosen because it has found a niche in the sporting arena. The facility will be built on a 6 acres piece of land. The site selected is ideal for the facility due to its nearness to the road and the availability of vast land, allowing for future expansion of the sporting facility. The region also hosts major schools and universities, making it a potential host for various international students; thus, it’s a vital region for constructing the sporting complex.

Facility Features

Bleachers

The stadium will be equipped with bleachers, and the bleachers will be designed to have a roof for the outdoor section of the facility, while the indoor arenas will be fixed with bleachers with no roofs. The bleachers to be used within the facility will be manufactured from steel. The bleachers will be permanently fixed to ensure safer and protect the spectators from any injury. The steel bleachers are chosen because of the strength and durability of the material. The bleachers will be of different sizes based on the available spaces left by the facility designers. The bleachers that will be fixed with roofs will be installed in the section used by the VIPs, and the technical bench for each team will be sitting.

The gymnasium will also be equipped with a barbel; the barbel will be long enough to allow for other exercises. The barbel used in the facility will be standard since the athletes will require standard equipment to compete effortlessly with their peers in other counties and countries. The squat racks will be mounted on the gym walls and fixed on the floor to ensure stability. Apart from the squat rack, the facility will have inclined, declined, and flat benches for strength training, especially the bench press. The gym will incorporate cardiovascular training; therefore, a few pieces of cardiovascular equipment will be incorporated because most cardiovascular exercises will be conducted on the field. This is a very vital feature of the facility because it is the largest among all the facilities and will be hosting various events. It is the longest field measuring 100 yards, and it will be situated outside next to the indoor arena. It is designed so that it will be able to host games and training simultaneously due to its vast size. The athletes will be able to have the opportunity to train in agility exercises within the facility. Project Budget

A project budget is one of the key aspects of any project; it provides the estimation of costs it provides the required to complete the project. It guides the project because it estimates the cost for every project phase. Most of the budget includes labor, facility operating, and material costs (Adafin, Rotimi & Wilkinson, 2020). The document is not static as it will be reviewed throughout the project lifecycle. For the construction of the sporting complex, the budgeting process will have to include many activities, from acquiring six acres of land to constructing the complex. The budget is based on the current market value of the items and services listed in the budget. If there will be changes in the market value of the items listed in the budget, then the document will be revised to meet the value, and therefore a supplementary budget will also be prepared.
