Introduction
For over ten years, urban areas decided to get rid of guns held illegal by people. In accompaniment with other gun control advocates, statistics point out to the police that half the number of illegal guns belongs to legal gun owners. Most gun-associated crimes are committed in urban areas, and the officer is responsible for maintaining order in the societies. Criminals attack and repossess weapons, hence, causing more harm to the community.

According to global statistics, there have been several arguments on gun ownership in almost every country. Killings caused by guns are out of personal health problems, and guns are a channel to suicide in urban cities. Global largest cities turning out to gun-free zones would not help reduce senseless violence (Niforatos et al., 2019). Most violent offenders are provided with weapons by gun owners. As well, criminals take advantage of attacking and repossessing weapons hence causing tension amongst unarmed individuals.
It is illegal to ride dirt bikes in parks, drive on a snowmobile, own poisonous snakes, or casually use firearms in urban areas because of the danger. It is not reasonable to keep guns in cities as they are harmful to human life, and it is traumatizing to see dead bodies and attend burials of loved ones (Niforatos et al., 2019). There is truth in stating that an escalation in gun ownership increases its misuse.
Counter
Factors such as unemployment, poverty, education, and alienation force people to kill. Governments should not punish all citizens by not fixing their problems. Niforatos et al. (2019) elaborate that gun ownership should be conducted with keenness and assessment of mental health, criminal records, and reasons for the acquisition. Finally, the gun control movement should be contacted in urban areas to reduce death cases.
In conclusion, ensuring meaningful usage of guns enables individuals to understand their position in society and prevailing peace. When people operate without tension, citizens experience tremendous economic developments. The authorities through order from authorities, should contact a serious gun search.
