This step is followed by the process of screening where the requirements, challenges, and problems are identified and therefore used to make the services effective. After this step, there is a cyclic process that involves planning, implementation, monitoring, and reviewing the care plan. In this process, new and arising needs are identified and solved through the same process.

It is anticipated that development will arise within many domestic care institutions which will compete and offer better services to build their reputation. This competition will lead to lower cost and better quality of services in the competing institutions/businesses than the ones experienced nowadays. Moreover, the improved economies will reduce the effects associated with spending money on buying the services since most people will be employed. Probably, the civilization of people will initiate the desires and reasons for the services to the people. Therefore, the costs will reduce due to the economies of scale or the customers will be satisfied due to the credible cost-effectiveness of the services.

Quality of Services

There are various factors that lead to a better quality of services. First, quality is determined by the delivery of information and its accessibility to the public. It is about how the management establishes its responsiveness and answers questions from the target customers. Secondly, the time and speed of delivering services without delaying the customers play a significant proportion in the management and maintenance of quality. If these attributes are not considered properly, the repercussions will be the loss of customers in the competitive market. The incompetent service providers will be replaced by the competent ones. In this light, the care manager will be for businesses offering quality services to avoid losing their customers. This implies that the quality of services will rise significantly not only to economic development, but also the competition experiences in the market.

Furthermore, the quality will be a strategy of advertising services to friends of the people who have received the care. The research performed by Pride and Ferrell (2008) indicated that quality services act as a channel of advertisement to other people within a society. Pride and Ferrell (2008) argued that quality of services leads to customer satisfaction that triggers the customers in recommending the services to other people within the society. Consequently, the advocacy for quality services will continue to be a stronghold for improvement in the future.

Technology

This is the most significant area in the determination of the anticipated trend within the care management of LRC. Information technology (IT) is an area of rapid growth and development with great changes expected in 10 years time. The development is rooted in the dispersion of information through modern devices such as I-pad and laptops. IT has established integrated systems involving the use of the internet, voice calls, messaging services, emailing, social media, and modern mass media, among others. Essentially, the use of proper communication services with the clients improves the level of reliability because the customer can access information and request help when needed. As LRC IT improves, there will be consequent developments in communication and marketing management. Furthermore, new and cheap communication devices will be available for use in the provision of services. For instance, the people who have diabetes today have a chance to buy equipment and machines to monitor their sugar level and reduce the risks associated with low or high sugar levels. Technology will facilitate the development of better assessments through updated devices in the future. This implies that care management will continue to rise concerning technology.

Also, the process of care management will be replaced by the efficient modern strategies which are facilitated by automated analysis programs. For instance, the accessibility of some x-rays machines will be high because of reduced prices and the initiation of new ones. The businesses that possess these machines will be well equipped to handle most services without sending them outside their premise. However, those with the machines will be competitive and independent of other major institutions like today. If these equipment and machines are well distributed in ten years, the care manager will be effective and satisfactory to the customers who appreciate receiving services at a close distance without moving to areas where people are densely populated in a way that congests people in the required services. For instance, most medical institutions miss some expensive and fundamental machines used for medical examination. However, technological advancements will create ways of establishing better and reliable services by lowering the cost. The machines will become affordable to most institutions which will bring the services near to people.

Accessibility and Need of Services

The demand for services will have a considerable influence on centres/businesses initiated to give the care services to the target families. For instance, the need for a person to clean clothes for a family can lead to the establishment of a business to take care of this demand. In a reciprocal manner, the need creates demand and causes the formation of businesses relative to the level of demand. This implies that many service providers will be formed in areas where there is high demand while few businesses will be initiated relative to low demand. Therefore, it is apparent that the accessibility of the services will be easy in instances where they are cost-effective in the caregivers’ side. Assuming that people will be informed about the advantages of domestic care services, the demand will be high, and, therefore, the centre for the services will be many and highly accessible to people in the future.

In other instances, the care may involve diseases which might require adequate and special care. In such cases, the requirements are obligatory because an individual might not live without the care services. The selection of the institutions or businesses to undertake the care chores for the diseased person might rely on trust and reliability passed through satisfied clients. Therefore, the accessibility might only be vital in cases of emergencies but not when there is ample time to select the best care providers. These care providers will provide prevention tactics for the diseases and establish training to the individuals with this need.

Trends in Research and Development

Essentially, researchers are still investigating this area of care management where they aim at discovering new strategies and information to make their services credible (Brodnik 2005). Therefore, it is expected that care management will be developed through research where discoveries are made and used to make the services substantial. Moreover, some discoveries require evaluation and review to establish new knowledge in this area. New drugs will be established in the treatment of disease or other product in offering services to the people. Finally, the prevailing problems in the processes used in care management will be solved through research.

Research is a core in the development of science as a whole which assists in breaking down problems and finding data to prove the viability of incidences. Care management will be no exception in this trend. Researchers will identify ideas that require scientific assessment and apply research techniques to find the answer to these problems. The research will initiate further research with or without discovering new knowledge in care management by recommending further investigations.

Accountability and Reliability

A business is accountable for its actions, whether they are right or inappropriate. This is an attribute that does most businesses to monitor and review their activities to prevent misdeeds which can compromise their reputation. The loyalty of customers towards a service relies on the maintenance of continued trust and reliability. For instance, the response time when a client requests for services will be a code for reliability (Lawrence 2004). Reliable providers will respond within a short time while the unreliable ones will delay or fail to deliver the services. In ten years, it is anticipated that large institutions with many loyal customers will arise to provide quality services to their clients. Customers will be able to trust the institutions due to the provision of quality services and high level of accountability (Leckridge 2006). Otherwise, the institutions defying this trend will be neglected and subjected to failure due to lack of loyalty and trust. This establishment of trust directed activities will promote the satisfaction of the customers and discourage the aspects that mistreat the clients.

Integration of Care Management

It cannot be disputed that domestic care has been integrated with other social aspects and development. For instance, most people are seeking to employ house girls who have academic qualifications so that they will assist children in working on their homework. This shows that parents are seeking for other services rather than domestic care only.

Consequently, it will be integrated with other aspects, such as education and nutrition. Regarding the integration of care management and education, the business will arise to offer services that cater to both aspects to increase their relevance to customers by the observed trend. Also, nutrition has also become a critical issue in domestic circles where people are struggling to attain good eating habits. As a result, there is a likelihood that care management will be integrated with nutritional services to focus on poor eating habits. This will be inspired by the quest of service providers to increase their market share.

In the modern world, domestic care has become very expansive due to existing popular culture and economic demands. For example, unlike in the past ten years, where women undertook all their chores personally, they presently seek services from domestic care services. Additionally, women are being considered to be capable of holding official, administrational, and organizational roles, among others gradually (Huang 2013). This implies that most of them will be involved in the performance of such crucial roles implying that they would need domestic care services. Based on this present situation, it is anticipated that the general demand for domestic care services will essentially increase in the next ten year. Lastly, people are experiencing harsh economic demands which require them to use extra hours in their work to meet their basic requirements. Consequently, the time available for accomplishing domestic chores has become substantially limited, calling for such people to seek help from available service providers. This generally implies that the demand for domestic care will gradually increase with time until the available service providers are incapable of meeting their demand without similar expansions.

Training Trends

In essence, care management has been based mostly on the theory since its practical sense and implications have not been well established. As a result, the training programs for care management lack the depth on intellectual knowledge needed for proficient training (Greener 2009). In the next ten years, this profession will have undergone critical evolution regarding practice so that trainers will have sufficient experience regarding the various aspects of care management. Drawing from such experience, care management will have a deep intellect to develop and improve their training programs. As a result, care management will experience better, deeper, and more informative training programs in the next ten years of existence.

Additionally, the researchers, theorists, and care managers will have conducted various studies on care management. This will be facilitated by continuous engagement of the R&D department in their quest to improve the quality of services, woe more customers, and increase market share (Johne 2007). As a result of such research, a lot of skills will be available for use by trainers in light of imparting skills.

Insurance is the most fundamental solution for risks related to capital. Health insurance exchange or insurance marketplace is an organization created to align the process of acquisition of health insurance as per patient protection guidelines in the United States (Davis 2011). Furthermore, an increase in interest rates by the monetary authority when attempting to regulate the money supply will increase the cost of credit. Consequently, enterprise owners will not want to borrow from the commercial banks, which can lead to the contraction of the economy and reduction consumer’s expenditure. It also causes selective credit creation where the government subsidizes some business activities, such as agriculture, to curb unemployment (Sherman 156). Other requirements are evident in;

  • Laws regulating the minimum wage rate, which acts as a guideline to employers on the remuneration of workers.
  • Laws requiring employers to cater for disabled persons and thus promote inclusion of the minority groups in the companies.
  • Protection of consumers against exploitation and unscrupulous practices will foster the businesses to produce quality goods and services.

Public Option

A public option is an expansion of the healthcare sector, where it is overseen by the state to provide insurance to eligible individuals (Stecher 2010). The controversial nature of the public option is that it sounds good when presented in terms of covering all Americans, but the public rejects when details of its financing come to light (Davies 2007). Currently, it is warding off insurance companies from turning down coverage to individuals who have a prevailing situation.

Role of Government

The government should care for the vulnerable groups in the society who are unable to provide for the financial demands against the medical attention they require (Hewitt 2012). Furthermore, they should ensure the provision of health care providers through promoting the training of personnel by offering state-based scholarships and promote research.
