What Does the Rights Violation Imply?

Because the modern world is full of misconceptions and rights violations, people need certain legal protection. Unfortunately, the most widespread type of violating people’s rights is improperly treating the employees. Despite the labor code and all the responsibilities which such crime drags, numerous companies are continuously swindling on the people.

The Justice as It Is. According to the so-called declaration of the military men’s rights, that is, the Uniform Code of Military Justice, every single man in the army or the navy has certain inalienable rights and, certainly, responsibilities. Thus, it is extremely important to know the rights which a military man possesses.

It is quite clear that accidents can happen and no one can feel secure from his or her rights violation. However, the Military Code provides quite sufficient immunity from all kinds of criminals. Due to the detailed instructions on what the rights and freedoms of military men are, it is possible to detect the malicious intents rather quickly. However, it must be taken into account that both the rights of the victim and the accused are considered (Dept. of Defence, 2004, P.15)

Are My Rights Violated?

It is important to understand whether the people surrounding you act according to the rules in the Code or not. In the latter case, all the necessary measures are to be taken to prevent further rights violations. The faster the necessary actions are carried out, the better.

In my case, there has been a slight incident of the kind which led to certain results. Because “Today the sources o military law are firmly established and modified not by practice but by changes to the sources themselves” (18), as Filbert (2010) out it, the case was investigated and solved.

Being rather simple, my case was quite notorious, for I was suffering persistent personal questions from the superior. It went without saying that I could not ignore the inquiries, because it would have been considered insubordination. My state of affairs was becoming quite dangerous and controversial when I decided to apply to the military court. After all, even the rights of interrogation presupposed that personal questions are not to be asked (Barr 2010, p. 13)

The question was whether the army knew what was going on. It is quite logical to suggest that the superiors were unaware of the situation, which made the sergeant who took illegal advantage of his position feel in relative impunity. Committing perjury, he was sent to jail by the military law (United States Code, 2006, p. 148)

Conclusion

Even though injustice and crimes take place at times, it is necessary not to give up. Written for people to feel safe about their rights in the working place, the law helps to survive through injustice. All that it takes to make things fall into their places is to apply to the organization which protects people’s rights. However, I believe that the court and law structure still has not achieved perfection, and there is something to strive for. As Arnow (1962) said on behalf of the legal officers and the lawyers of the whole country,

As lawyers and leaders in the community, we are obliged to seek continually to improve and refine the status quo, so that we may advance ever closer to that point where the relationship between all men is governed by the rule of law. (p. 648)

Perhaps, the time will come when the judicial system reaches perfection. However, the army and the rest of the military departments have a long way to go. Still, there is the hope that the military service will turn into a system governed by justice only.
