MyFitnessPal and Samsung Health are among the common healthcare apps I know and utilize. The critical detail is that both applications do not give their users advice that can harm their health. They aim to inform the person about daily activity and workouts and track nutrition. These details help people stay healthy and give them the feeling that they control their lives.
MyFitnessPal is designed to track nutrition, sleep, heart rate, and other details about physical health (Knerl, 2021). I use it as a food diary that helps me develop good eating habits and have a balanced diet. Samsung Health has similar functions as MyFitnessPal, but the main difference is that it integrates with my fitness watch. It allows me to measure the level of physical activity automatically because the information is taken from my fitness watch.
I like how MyFitnessPal and Samsung Health allow me to track my daily activity and eating habits. It makes my life more structured, and I feel that I make everything possible to be healthy and active. Moreover, I like these apps’ simple design and user-friendly interface. It is convenient to find the necessary information there. For example, when I type the name of the product I consume in MyFitnessPal, I can choose the option I need from the list of suggestions. It makes the food diary easy to write, which allows me to support my motivation to continue. Samsung Health integrates with my fitness watch, which makes it convenient to track my activity during the workouts. I can see the calories I burnt during the training, my heart rate, and my exercise duration. Therefore, MyFitnessPal and Samsung Health provide me with necessary information about my daily activity and nutrition, and their interfaces are convenient to use.
