At the moment, with the advent of electronic means of transportation, the question arises about which type of transport saves more money. This study aims to consider which cars are more economical, gas or electric. The research question asks whether people save more money when using electric or gas vehicles. The central hypothesis of the study is that the electric car will save more money than gas ones.
Transport that operates on gas is much cheaper in terms of a price tag than electric. However, when considering whether fuel or electricity is cheaper, it is worth noting that the first option requires much lower financial costs. Despite this, there are much fewer stations for recharging a car in the country than there are gas stations for conventional vehicles. At the same time, the second one has a much more positive effect on the environment and the well-being of people since it does not have harmful exhaust gases and other harmful substances (Majchrzak et al., 2021). Another aspect that needs to be considered is the high cost of maintenance of a gas and electric car. Hence, the latter has much fewer parts that may require constant and frequent repairs, which makes them cheaper.
To obtain the necessary information, the study will use the survey method to optimize the time of work. The survey method is also advantageous for this scientific paper as it allows getting an honest opinion from the participants. In addition, the choice of this approach differs significantly less cost when choosing an online method of conducting. The main expected outcome that the study is counting on is a confirmation of the presented hypothesis that electric cars save more money than those that use gas.
