Estimating the education level of the population, it can be stated that the largest part of the population (33.5 %) has a bachelor’s degree with the higher rates of the female population in this category (34%) and the lower rates of the male population (33%). The second-largest subgroup (21.5%) includes individuals with certain professional degrees, while the female population counts for 21.7% and the male population for 21.3%. Another statistically significant subgroup in this category comprises a population with some college or no degree (17.9%), and in this category, the male population is dominating (18.6%) with the female population with no degree counting for 17.1%. The smallest population group has the education of less than 9th grade (3.6%) with 3.8% of females and 3.3% of males. The second smallest subgroup includes the citizens who have not diploma but have completed between 9th to 12th grades comprising 4.0% with 4.2% of males and 3.8% of females. Summing up the above mentioned statistical data, it can be stated that the largest part of the population of the School District is rather educated with the bachelor’s degree as the most common educational level while the uneducated population with the level of education less than 9th grade counts for the smallest population group. Additionally, it should be noted that there are insignificant deviations between the educational levels of males and females with the female population dominating in most categories, including both the highest educational levels and the lowest one.

The second demographic characteristic under consideration is the median income level among the inhabitants of the School District. In general, it can be stated that the employed population of the School District of the age 16 and overcounts for about a half of the overall population (52.2%) with 52.2% of employed males and 47.8% of employed females. The median earnings for the District count for $ 39.998 with $44.998 for men and 34.998for women. As it can be seen from the comparison of the above-mentioned figures, the difference between the median earnings of men and women is significant. Moreover, comparing the earnings of males and females who work in the same sectors, it can be stated that the earnings of men are significantly higher than those of their female colleagues with the only exception of the federal government workers sector in which the median earnings of females are $59, 543, while the earnings of males are $54,053. Additionally, it should be noted that the federal government workers have the highest earnings in the School District ($ 57,416). The self-employed individuals have the second-highest earnings ($ 55,644) with the largest difference between the earnings of men and women ($ 63,120 for men and $ 44,135 for women). The self-employed individuals in not incorporated business along with workers employed in the family business have the lowest earnings in the area ($ 29,380). In general, analyzing the median income levels of the School District population, it can be stated that there is a significant difference between the earnings of men and women but for the federal workers who also have the highest wages.

The third parameter of the statistical profile for the School District is the work status of the population in general. The largest part of the population is employed and works between 50 to 52 weeks a year, including 59.7% of men and 52.2% of women. The unemployed population counts for the second-largest group and is estimated at about 14% with 16% unemployed women and 12.0% of unemployed men. The population group working between 14 to 26 weeks is the smallest and counts for 5.4% of the overall population only. Regarding the usual working hours per week, the largest part of the population worked 35 or more hours a week (64.9%) with 71.4% of males and 58.2% of females. The lowest rates count for those who worked between 1 to 14 hours during 50 to 52 weeks (0.8%). Analyzing the work status of the School District, it can be stated that the largest part of the population was employed full day and worked between 50 to 52 weeks in 2009.

Conclusion

In general, it can be concluded that the educational and employment rates, as well as the mean earnings of the population living in the School District, are rather high, and this data can be taken into account for evaluating the criminological situation in this location.
