There are many and different cultures in the world. People holding these cultures have different beliefs. Traditionally, people used medicine and ate food according to what they believed about them. There was passing of beliefs from one generation to another. Each culture was unique in its own ways.

Traditional medicine customs in Chinese culture

Among herbal systems of the word, Traditional Chinese Medicine is one of the great ones. The system has continually developed throughout its history. Sustaining of this Traditional Chinese Medicine was through research into every aspect of usage. Herbal medicines are very safe especially when prescribed by a well-trained health worker. The Traditional Chinese Medicine has unique characters. For many past years, these traditional medicines have been providing curing of many diseases.

Naming: traditional Chinese medicine has a variety of names with some of them complicated. They were given names according to their origin, smell, the disease they heal, and the name of the one who discovered them.

Functions: the medicines functioned in different ways according to the type of disease.

Traditional Chinese Medicine has been remarkably effective in treatment of diseases like tumours, bone fractures, and many others. TCM provides non-surgical treatment of diseases that may require surgeries.

Recently, development of TCM was through technology. For example, cupping has further been developed as a way of opening pores of the body.

Traditional Chinese Medicine has significantly improved the health of people from all over the world. The result for this is few deaths caused by serious diseases. TCM has been helping in raising the economy of countries and counties all over the world.

Research reports

Reports on some researches like statistics showed that China raised the number of the world’s qualifying. Researchers report that TCM has improved people’s ways of living. This happens through creating employments. Also, research results to better forms of herbal medicines. They help treating complicated diseases that are extremely common in today’s life.

Knowledge

This is a course that examines how a country or a county approaches health and medicine. Globalisation of science and technology has become a reality of today’s world.TCM has resulted to an increase in the people’s knowledge. It increases during researches to discover better forms of herbal medicine. Researchers must get new ideas about this which makes them knowledgeable.

This is a course that helps one examine diverse ways of how people understand traditional medicines. Individuals examine how improvement of herbal medicine would be significant to the health of people. These are ways that help to modernizing traditional medicine. Modernization of this medicine helps improve ways of treatments. Quick relieving of pain is an excellent example. Traditional medicine modernizing is done according cultural, economical, and political transformations.

Ethics

This is a course that examines relationships of people in a society. Traditional Chinese Medicine has brought a clear picture of ethics. People interact very much dealing with the herbal medicines. Human beings are able to have close relations with one another. Chinese Traditional Medicine was able to improve trade in the whole world. This has continued since many people are self employed through selling the medicine. The traditional medicine has led to the creation of job opportunities. This is because there is a requirement for trainers who train health workers to offer the best services to patients.
