Several types of research including the reports by the UNICEF demonstrate that several children die every day because of exposure to extreme poverty situations.
Many families lack basic needs like food, shelter, and even clothing. Due to poverty, children from such families suffer malnutrition and other diseases. Although the impacts of poverty are felt globally, developing countries are reported to be the most affected. In these countries, several families lack access to clean water and proper sanitation. In most instances due to severe impacts of poverty, many children are neglected or are forced to work to get food. This child labor affects children and lack services like education and health care.
Another issue that is currently affecting the lives of children negatively is exposure to media. Technological advancement has greatly taken place worldwide. This has turned the world into a small village. In the olden days, children in their early stages of development were exposed to the natural environment to physically play and engage in other activities that make them develop properly. In the modern world, children do not even get time to interact and play with others.
They are left to play with gadgets like computers and phones. This exposes them to dangerous indoor games like computer games impairs the normal growth of such children. Some of the computer games are a violent and long exposure to them makes the children also turn violent. Others through the internet lead to child-adult content that has serious impacts on the life of a child.

This IT student can also compose a television advert that addresses the Challenges faced by these orphans and children in general, as a result of poverty. The need to touch the lives of such children either through donations of money, food or clothes can be emphasized in this advert. The IT student can then run this television advert through YouTube for the public to watch. By so doing, the poverty challenges can be addressed.

In this organization, one may help by coming up with ways to raise funds to meet the needs of the children by for example using the above-mentioned ways through the current advanced technologies. An employee in this organization should be made feel an important part of the organization. This is another way that can make this organization give quality services to its clients. By so doing, employees will work knowing that the success or failure of this organization lies in their own hands, a factor that will motivate them to serve the organization’s clients effectively for better results.
