An ethnographic study of people and their culture, customs, and mutual difference involves immersing oneself in a particular community or organization to observe the behavior. The current study focuses on African Americans and how they traveled from Africa to the U.S. Historically, Africa is regarded as the heart of humanity; therefore, it is essential to create a counter-narrative to help celebrate the continent and address long-standing racism and poverty affecting Africa. It is also important to showcase the advances in civilizations. The current study will investigate African American societies, which are one of the largest ethnic groups in the U.S, and most are of African Ancestry. Most African Americans are descendants of enslaved people brought from Africa, and the research focuses on the connection between the current state of African Americans concerning their history.

Teaching how African countries’ histories intersect is essential, given that the colonial power established most African boundaries. However, these countries had great societies and kingdoms before the arrival of western influence. Colonialism was based on economic, political, and religious aspects. Archaeology has become an essential source of information on African history. Through studying ancient African history, we can learn about past societies, governments, and African culture and how the world has evolved from the past to modern society. There is a need to review the African curriculum to appreciate the contribution of Africa in different fields of study.

Looking at the historical past and current events to scientifically predict ancient history is essential. It is important to emphasize and appreciate African contribution to the developed countries growth and history. However, African Americans had not enjoyed the benefits of emancipation, as little was done to their economic and social status (Anderson & Johnson, 2019). The U.S department suggests that the process of racial reconciliation in police brutality by both the criminal justice system and society starts with the public. The honesty and willingness of the communities to examine the issue of police brutality will be the founding stage to address these disparities.

America changing growth measures and demographics require a careful evaluation by both elected and police officials to change the public view of police brutality. African Americans founded the growing economy of the country’s early infrastructure and produced commodities such as cotton and tobacco (Johnson et al., 2022). Clothing, fashion, and language are attributed to African Americans, including hair trends and labels such as Fubu clothing, and most are famous for their contributions to music.

To sum up, the current study investigated African American societies, which are one of the largest ethnic groups in the U.S, and most are of African Ancestry. Most African Americans are descendants of enslaved people brought from Africa. The research focuses on the connection between the current state of African Americans and their history. The study uses social distribution to determine the exact cause of poverty in the affected population and the social distribution of the increasing poverty rate among African Americans.
