It described the trend in the use of worldwide web technology and web design that enhanced creativity, sharing of information and enhanced collaboration with other users. Its technologies fostered innovation in the assembly of systems and sites that were composed of pulling together features that were from the distributed independent developers. The web 2.0 allowed the users to retrieve information and also to build interactive facilities of web 1.0 to provide the network for computing and for allowing the users to run the software applications using the browser.

Mr. Berners Lee started working as consultants of the Centre European pour la Recherche Nucleaive (CERN) in the year 1990. There were several platform that were dependent and proprietary on the information storage and retrieval methods several systems as CERNET and FOCUS that were used by Berners Lee to store and to manipulate data at one place since most of his documents were stored in different databases on different machines which made him not to accomplish goals and objectives.

Mr. Berner Lee was the creator of World Wide Web stated that he wanted to share information with people from different countries so as to utilize his skills and knowledge so they that could be used for innovation purposes that would increase the productivity of the company. They were heard on the MP3 player that could not be heard on the computer using the media player software. The uses of the pod casts were that they enable the students and the teachers to share information with anyone at any given period of time; incase a student failed to attend a class they could use recorded information in product that could assist them in studying their course work. The pod casts gave more options in terms of content and programming than a radio because the listeners of pod casts could determine the time and place, programming they wanted to receive and when they wanted to listen to it unlike the radio whereby the listeners only listened to what was being presented by the presenters in the media stations. The listeners retained the information that they wanted to listen to using the audio archives so that they could listen to the information at their own leisure time. The pod casting techniques had the potential of turning the pod casters into radio personalities therefore it posed a threat to the media industry because the employees of the media industry would lose their employment incase the pod cast were implemented into their organization as they could carry out the duties and responsibilities thus rendering them to lose their jobs.

The blogs were used by major corporations’ websites to air their thoughts, ideas and they sent information faster than the mainstream media. The digitization of content together with the compression tools and the easy-to-access broadband networks facilitated piracy to spread to different countries of the world and this reduced the returns of the producers. The solution to the challenge of piracy to the video and the media producers were to implement the digital watermarking providers that enabled the producers in the music and video industry to distribute their video and tapes to the market using the unique identifiers that allowed greater and safer dissemination of copyrighted looks to only the appropriate customers and also it ensured that the producers were compensated appropriately.

The Digital Rights Management possessed the techniques that would be used to observe and to report on the usage characteristic that provided the distributors with the Digital Rights Management (DRM) that were not available that would lead to conflict of interests. They were also not used to report the problems of copyrighting to the owners of the copyright material but they did not lead to conclusive solutions could be reached on how to control the problem that existed within the copyrighting process. The problems with the digital rights management (DRM) were that they limited the publics’ access to the works that were available and they denied the users the ability to make fair uses of the copyright rights, jeopardized the long-term preservation of information and frustrated the attempts to improve the interoperability of the different computer technologies.
