Today’s websites need to be properly created so that they become easy to get information, and that they are appealing to the viewers. These are the factors that make the websites easy to sell to the crowd. It is good when the website chosen is linked and connected to search engines, scientists have shown that all internet users approximately 95% use search engines. The site should always appear on the first page of the search engine. The search engine is in a position to navigate most of the content from the site. Information communication technologies have made differences in the vast tourism industry rapidly. Hence tourism needs a diverse range of information and results to support offered by developing multimedia. Tourism has been found to have a major part in different countries like for the Greek economy. The intention of this research is to diffuse the result of Information Communication Technologies and the internet mostly for the coming age’s competitiveness of the two counseling websites. Hence web evaluation is currently divided into various different elements which address the web presence. The most essential part of this approach is to find out the quality through the website’s technical performance and its accessibility.
The first site, APA, is a good site which has good links. The bad thing is that it has many links. It is hard to get the content of the website. Designing a website will take many forms; this will depend on the person doing the design. Also it is a process of giving form to an idea which could be a plan or description of a thing. A good design should include the use of good colors, images and flash browsers are consistent to navigate and the external links are available and in a position to load.
Comparing the two sites, APA has fewer graphics in its design. This is why the site loads fast. The colors that are used in the website are not that screaming. They are complementing each other (Graham, 1999). This is one of the desired features of a website. There is a need to complement colors when designing a website. There are no flashy images on the website. These are the graphics which make a website load slowly. The ethics that are laid in the website are very much clear in the website. The links that are in the website, though they are flat without any graphics, have a lot of information in them. They at least lead to the desired page. All of the links in the website are working. This is one of the qualities that are to be found in any website.
The American Counseling Association is the second website that I am going to research on. This website is quite interesting because it has rich information when compared to the first one. Although this site has fewer graphics than the American Psychological Association, it has more content on its home page. This is because the content that is displayed on the homepage is more detailed when compared to the other website. The APA website has more links dotting its homepage. Most of the links are non-informative.
The content of the website are found in the pages in which the links directs the user. The design of the website is abet dull because there are less graphics in it. The few graphics which are seen in the website are navigable. This adds to the links that are found in the website. Well designed and user adaptable e-commerce websites improve business promotion as they attract more visitors though many factors affects website success, much has been written about design of websites regarding human engineering, user interface, business and usability perspectives (Castells, 2003). Internet is the easiest distribution channel and the most cost effective method to reach customers around the globe. The text used should be easy to understand and presented in a very detailed manner.

The site has the latest navigator links so that when a user passes the cursor over some links, there is a drop-down menu that pulls down.
Usefulness of the websites
The most useful site is the American Counseling Association website. I find this very informative because the links and the homepage are very informative. The ACA and the National Board of Certified Counselors have in their website the ethics that should be followed by all the professions (Brian, 2003). Every council of ethical counseling have their website which contains ethics that should be followed in the design and managing the links in the websites. All of these sites have ethics which should be followed by the students who are using the websites to do their research. It is here that the information and the content that are found in these websites are evaluated. Further to getting the counseling information on the Internet, there are other uses that these websites have proved to provide; they are used to provide learning materials for the students who are taking the counseling course. They have been the best place that the students in high institutions of learning have found. This website, ACA, has proved to be the home of many students looking for learning material from these sites. I highly recommend the site for the continuous efforts they are doing to ensure that the students get the latest in this field of learning. The technologies that are used in this site are the latest so that it is dynamic and loads fast. Crowned with the simplistic nature it has, this site proves to be the best site that provides counseling information for the counseling students and practitioners.
