$1,500 Winner Announcement for 2022 Annual Video Contest Scholarship

Greetings to everyone who decided to join the announcement of the 2022 Video Contest Scholarship winners!

As per the tradition, we’ll go over the general stats before naming the best works.

This year, we received a grand total of 83 submissions. There were 19 works that we couldn’t include in the evaluation and final vote for various reasons (wrong format, irrelevant topic, technical issues, etc.). We ended up having 73 videos in the first and 64 in the second evaluation stage.

Overall, it’s safe to say that the contest went smoothly, with very few hiccups like cheating attempts or other sorts of problems. Just like last year, we received plenty of beautiful and creative videos, which made us really proud of you!

All of the entries that were chosen for the second round of evaluation had 8089 votes, 27791 views, and 554 hours of watch time.

Now, let’s announce the winners.

• First place and the $1,000 prize goes to Rodrigo Oda. His video titled “WHAT YOU DIDN’T KNOW OF SOCIAL MEDIA ADDICTION” received 2349 votes and 6460 views. Well done!
• Second place and the $500 prize goes to Malika Gizzat. Her video titled “Is FLEXible Post-Pandemic Education A Flex” received 2306 votes and 5154 views. Congratulations!

We sincerely appreciate each and every one of you for choosing to participate in this year’s competition. Don’t be disappointed if you didn’t get lucky this time.
