The article Even Good Bots Fight by Tsvetkova et al. describes how independent computers can be. The authors argue that bots based on machine learning and artificial intelligence can be autonomous of people in making certain decisions (Tsvetkova et al., 2017). It has a significant impact on their communication among themselves. As Tsvetkova et al. (2017) state, “they make and execute decisions without human intervention and perceive and adapt to the context they operate in” (p. 1). The experiment, in which the two bots corresponded with each other, ended in a conflict between them (Tsvetkova et al., 2017). Therefore, it is worth concluding that although artificial intelligence is now at a high level of development, the communication of technologies among themselves needs to be improved.
In addition, artificial intelligence can be an indispensable tool for human-technology communication. In Communicating Artificial Intelligence by Seungahn Nah et al., the authors describe how artificial intelligence can establish communication (Nah et al., 2020). According to Nah et al. (2020), “this is evident from various real-world applications of AI, such as Amazon’s Alexa, which has a capability of natural language processing and recognition and can interact and communicate with human users” (p. 12). In addition, assistants such as Siri and Google Assistant make interaction with people much more effortless.
In my view, technology is developing so rapidly that the problem of technology communication among themselves will soon be resolved. The bots will be trained by artificial intelligence and gain more human abilities in communication. It is important to note that this process, in my opinion, will be affected not only by software but by the performance of devices expressed through chips and processors, which will be improved and become more powerful.
As technologies are to be implemented, making my life easier, I suggest such innovations as Google Glass be developed. It can be a portable, easy-to-use device that significantly simplifies a person’s routine. As an example, there may be a collaboration of such a device with the service Rate&Goods. When a person goes to the store with these glasses, they use the application to learn about food and other products to buy. Such an example is exemplary in terms of technology-human communication.
