Methodology
Study design
Originally, the design is based on the definition of the breast cancer diagnosis procedure in Saudi Arabia. The fact is that, the health care program in this geographic area is associated with the encouragement of all the women in the area to be subjected to the examination for the breast cancer, as the earlier the problem will be found, the more successful the treatment process will be. The overall process may be shown on the following chart.

Ethical considerations
Originally, the ethical considerations of the Saudi Arabia audience will not be touched upon, if the medical team will be female. Independently on the qualification of male doctors, women of Saudi Arabia will not agree to examine their health, as religious and cultural origins of this country do not permit women show their body to anyone except husband. Moreover, the medical staff, if not from Arab world, should respect the cultural and religious practices of their patients. Moreover, the treatment should not contradict with the religious beliefs of the patients.
Types of Evaluation
The evaluation of the process should be closely associated with the amount of time, dedicated to any particular patient, and the amount of the arranged tests. The impact will be evaluated by the promotional actions and campaigns, aimed at attracting and encouraging women to pass the tests for breast cancer. The more women will be attracted for the examination, the more cases of breast cancer will be prevented and treated. The outcomes will be evaluated after the program is terminated. The results of the program will include the amount of women attracted, and the amount of cases solved.
Sample Size, Selection and Recruitment Methods
The sample size, in comparison with the similar programs should be up to 90%. Thus, the aim of the project is to encourage the majority of women to pass the examination, and work with the male population, in order to persuade them let their wives to pass the examination. The recruitment methods will entail banners and public lectures, explaining the origin of breast cancer, its diagnosis and consequences, if it is left untreated. All the possible harms and dangers should be represented, in order women and their husbands did not regard the problem as something not worth attention.
Anticipated Use of Results
The results of the project will be used as the serious contribution to the world medical practice, and, the outcomes and the solution of possible difficulties may be applied in similar projects in other countries with specific cultural, religious or ethnic background. On the other hand, these results may be used for the analysis of breast cancer tendencies, outlining of the main reasons of its appearing, outlining the key aspects of treatment failures, etc.
Methods for Dissemination of the Research Findings
The methods, which will be used for the dissemination of the gained results will entail academic publications, including of the information into reports for representation on conferences and in public lectures. Originally, it should be emphasized that the central tool for the dissemination is the issuing of the results in short pamphlets, and advertisement movies for the social advertising.
Appendix
The draft instrument, which will be used in the program will be associated with interviewing and examining physical conditions of the patients. Originally, this will be the written, printed and audio records, which will be further examined for the research of the overall problem. It should be emphasized that there is strong necessity to bear in mind the possibility of error in calculations and sociological counts, consequently, math instruments should be used for defining the accurate tendencies and aspects of breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.
The scales, which will be used for the evaluation, should touch upon the issues of the amount of patients, cases of breast cancer fixed and treated. Moreover, there will be strong necessity to outline the main reasons of failure, and state the percentage of the main obstacles, associated with racial, sociological, cultural and religious backgrounds. Taking into consideration the fact that at least 20% of breast cancer cases are fixed by women themselves, the same statistics should be evaluated in Saudi Arabia. The results of the project should also entail the information on the lectures, aimed to teach women self study their breasts for defining tumors.
There will be strong necessity to work together with local government to advertise using billboards, radio announcements and communication through community centers to promote the “The earlier, the better”: Promoting breast cancer diagnosis in regional and rural Saudi Arabia. The methods of cooperation with government will be another aspect of the project. On the other hand, cooperation with professionals and local hospitals will be also required. Thus, this aspect of project experience will be also shared.
