My uncle was unaware at the time, but his first vertebra caused the fracture. It took four more months of testing to determine that the crack was indeed caused by cancer. In 2012, he received a diagnosis of plasmacytoma malignancy, an immune system cancer that affects healthy bone tissue and damages the vertebrae in the upper back. The reason I am starting with such a sorrowful story is just my friendly reminder that nobody is guaranteed to stay safe from getting any cancer diagnosis at some point in their life. “So what?” – you may ask, expecting me to narrate how to combat it since I brought up this topic. Although I am not a full-fledged expert to speak on this subject, I do know very straightforward advice that could ever exist. And here it is: just drink green tea – I will explain why.
People all know that drinking green tea helps to calm and relax the body. However, only a few people may be aware of analyses of research, where case-control studies provided the most reliable findings and demonstrated a decreased chance of developing cancer owing to green tea drinking (Cheng et al., 2020). There is a correlation between green tea intake and the chance of developing cancer, with the risk being minimal in individuals who drank the most cups a day and greatest in those who did not (Cheng et al., 2020). Another group of researchers also discovered that women who consumed the most green tea showed the least amount of cancer spread in a trial including 472 breast cancer patients in different stages (Venkateswaran et al., 2017). Therefore, drinking green tea regularly is just a necessity- it will contribute to good health and physical vigor throughout the day and prevent severe diseases.
