Toilet brushes are used in every household, for cleansing purposes. With the advent of the twenty first century, and with immense rising competition through the globe, manufacturers are at their utmost to attempt bringing new products into the market.
Despite the quality served to customers, however, there are other factors that affect the purchasing of a commodity, especially one that is in regular use. Two aspects that affect the purchases made by customers are:
- Good quality, preferably optimum.
- Low price, that is easily affordable.
Recently, a number of new toilet products have been manufactured, including new styles of toilet brushes, which offer convenient usage. The need for this arose because of the problem being faced by people in general, of not being able to reach ‘difficult’ places while cleaning, and the brushes leaving bad odour where they were placed after use. Three different companies introduced their new toilet cleaning brush designs, each containing a special feature, of the addition of the cleanser to the brush, instead of having to add a cleaning agent separately. Reckitt and Benckiser came up with a Lysol Ready Brush, which has an aerosol can attached to it, containing the cleanser. When the can is emptied, it can be replaced with a new can, the brush not being a disposable one. Johnson’s introduced the ‘Scrubbing Bubbles Fresh Brush’, which has a disposable pad containing scrubbing bubbles at the end of the brush. The third product, which is the ‘Clorex Toilet Wand’, is similar to the fresh brush, with a round disposable sponge.
In considering buying options, one would go for the product that offers the greatest value in the long run. The product with many features attached with it, or of the highest price does not guarantee maximum efficiency, thus, it should be analyzed, as to which of these three products will benefit the customers most, and will be successful in the market.
The Lysol Ready Brush would not prove successful compared to the other two products, because of the need for the replacement of the can once the former one has been consumed. These aerosol cans may give a trendy look to the brush itself, but will prove expensive with monthly can refills or replacements. The customers will face a loss at the end of the day, due to overspending of money, just for toilet washing.
The Fresh Brush is a better option, with the cleaning pad containing the cleanser. The pad can clean large parts of areas at one go, offering time efficiency. The disadvantage of this brush is that it is unable to reach the smaller areas, thereby making the cleansing point not being met at its best.
The Clorex Toilet Wand will work better than the Fresh Brush due to the round sponge, being better able to cleanse the hidden areas with the aid of the scrubbing bubbles.
I opine that amongst the three creations, the Clorex Toilet Wand will be of highest demand, because of the efficiency, good quality and low price that it offers.
