Introduction
People approach their work and future career plan differently depending on their personal beliefs, values, and worldview. In general, I am interested in receiving promotion at my workplace and realization of my talents. However, I am convinced that profit is not the final point in performing my working duties. In general, I give priority to religious practices and beliefs, which should come before earning significant sums of money.
Main body
As for me, I see two major objectives in my professional activity. The first one regards self-realization, as I appreciate my work for the possibility of developing my skills and update my knowledge. I consider it unacceptable to perform working duties without my personal interest in the activity and desire to achieve the best result (Smith, 2016). Each person has a unique set of talents and strengths, and people are to find and develop them. For instance, I am aware that my advantage is the ability to organize other people and motivate them. For this reason, I attempt to explore the leadership side of my profession, such as participation in project management, in order to be able to realize this bond.
The second purpose is to provide the best possible benefit for people by fulfilling my responsibility. I am convinced that the general purpose of any job is delivering help to other people in solving their problems and responding their needs (Smith, 2016). For instance, my organization skills may contribute to establishing appropriate working atmosphere, structure the process, and motivate people to do their best at the workplace. The sense of my unique gift is to help other people, performing my duties, and, for this reason, the benefit should come before money (Smith, 2016). Therefore, when working, I attempt to concentrate on the outcome of my activity instead of focusing on the future profit.
Conclusion
In conclusion, it should be mentioned that beliefs, values, and religious practices should be higher than greed and desire to become wealthy regardless of means. It is vital to explore unique talents and strong qualities and find a way how they may be useful for society. This way, it is possible to achieve self-realization in career path and provide benefit for clients and colleagues.
