This memo aims to inform every employee about the change in the company’s operating time schedule. Celine Beauty Company’s main objective is to meet customer expectations and satisfaction. Most customers are confined to busy schedules; hence, they lack sufficient time to access our services during weekdays, early morning hours, and late evening hours due to commitment to their job requirements. In other circumstances, customers need beauty therapy services during their leaves and holidays. However, it has come to our attention that our company closes down its operations during holidays. As a result, customers cannot access the services they need at their convenient time.
Celine Beauty Company has noticed the underserved customers’ gap and has come up with the following solutions. The company will start 24/7 operations in its Washington DC stores to meet customers’ needs anytime. Employees in each store in Washington DC will be required to adjust the holiday schedule and start working in shifts effective next month. This approach is purposed to gather more revenue from all customers at all times of the year. Rescheduling of these services is also expected to commence in our international stores in France, Italy, Canada, and Indonesia due to the large market and high demand for services and products. The market environment has become competitive due to product and service substitution and competitive rivalry threats. This adjustment will be beneficial to the company in increasing sales and creating a favorable competitive advantage over our rival competitors.
