Medical Coverage

We are focused on supporting the well-being of our employees. Therefore, the employees in We In Need are covered according to the UnitedHealthcare insurance plan for employees. In order to guarantee the employees’ well-being and satisfaction, the high productivity, and the effective performance while avoiding exhaustion and severe health problems, 100% of the employees in We In Need are covered with the insurance plan (Maeng, Pitcavage, Tomcavage, & Steinhubl, 2013, p. 1271).

The insurance plan is proposed in the context of the developing corporate program of supporting the employees’ health. The limitations associated with the use of the UnitedHealthcare insurance plan are few, and they include the absence of medical coverage for cosmetic services and the absence of medical coverage for dental services.

In addition, the employees in We In Need have the opportunity to receive the medical coverage for spouses and family members while providing the additional fee which is planned to be regularly deducted from the employees’ monthly earnings (Table 1).

Table 1. Medical Coverage for a Spouse and Family Members

Medical Coverage
SpouseUSD 190 per month
Spouse + ChildUSD 350 per month
Family (up to 4 children)USD 450

Dental Coverage

In order to contribute to the positive health outcomes for the employees in We In Need, the company developed the effective insurance plan, and the dental coverage is the part of this plan. Dental coverage is guaranteed by such a reputable dental insurance provider as HealthPlex.

100% of the employees in We In Need are covered with the insurance program developed by HealthPlex specialists. Authorities in We In Need understand the role of the high quality health care services in the person’s life (Wang, Norton, & Rozier, 2007, p. 1544). That is why, the employees are provided with the additional dental coverage which is often not represented in the standard insurance plans (Wang et al., 2007, p. 1546).

Furthermore, the employees in We In Need have the unique opportunity to ask for the dental coverage for the members of their families while providing the additional monthly fee (Table 2). Using the HealthPlex insurance program, the members of the employees’ families can also save their funds because of the provided special offers.

Table 2. Dental Coverage for a Spouse and Family Members

Dental Coverage

Spouse + ChildUSD 175 per month
Family (up to 4 children)USD 300

Vision

In order to respond to all the employees’ needs regarding their health and well-being, We In Need proposes the VSP Choice Plan which is provided for the additional fee not only for the employees but also for the members of their families (Maeng et al., 2013, p. 1271; Table 3).

The lens enhancements, contact lens exam, and prescriptions of contact lens are guaranteed according to the proposed insurance plan because they cover the basic employees’ needs regarding the vision medical services. From this perspective, the employees in We In Need receive the chance to improve their health in relation to vision issues while paying additional regular fees according to the VSP Choice Plan which are significantly lower than the standard fees proposed for the employees.

The focus on the provision of the vision coverage is one of strong aspects of the compensation and benefits program followed in We In Need.
