There is no use denying the fact that nowadays, giant international companies have a great influence on people and society. That is why these companies have the practice of organizing CSR campaigns. In such a way, they try to increase the level of their popularity by organizing some events which lead to the creation of some social goods.

The event organized by the well-known brand Ferrari could be called the campaign of this sort. The main purpose of this campaign was to increase its popularity by involving youth into its activity (A full month of celebrations and racing challenges brings Park’s guests to top gear this season, n.d.).

Moreover, the reason for this campaign was to promote the increase in popularity of this mark in the world. Being very influential, the company involved a great number of different media representatives for them to cover the main events which happened during this event. Moreover, not only Ferrari was involved in the process. Some other famous organizations became the stakeholders of this campaign.

The similar company was organized in Dubai and was called Kidzania. The main purpose of this company was to involve as many children as it is possible for them to get some new information about the environment and, of course, be entertained and preserve their belief in the reality of miracles (The Coca-Cola Company make a child’s dream come true and support sustainability at KidZania, n.d.).

The Coca Cola company was one of the stakeholders which guaranteed successes of the action. This campaign was a very popular and great number of different newspapers, magazines and internet sources devoted their articles to it, trying to bring as many attention to this event as it is possible.

On the basis of these two successful campaigns, it is possible to suggest a similar CSR campaign dedicated to the Down Syndrome Awareness Day, which is on the 21st of March. The main focus of the company should be made on this disease and the life of people who suffer from it (My Opportunities, My Choices, n.d.). These people should also enjoy their life and be happy.

That is why the event should increase awareness of the idea what Down Syndrome is (What is Down Syndrome? n.d.) and how society should treat people who suffer from it. This event should gain popularity as this issue is very important nowadays. That is why it is recommended to add as much information about the World Down Syndrome Day as it is possible to the specialized website. Moreover, correspondents from newspapers and magazines should also be invited to describe the event and outline its main priorities.

The high popularity of this campaign will promote the involvement of different international organizations. To be a stakeholder of this CSR campaign will mean to be concerned about actual problems of society and this fact can promote an increase in the popularity of these companies. Special nominations for companies and people, participating in the project, can be constituted.

These awards can be part of the main strategy of this CSR campaign. The issue of charity should not also be forgotten. Unsolicited contributions can compose a huge sum of money which can improve the current state of affairs connected with this disease.

Having analyzed the main ideas of different CDR campaigns, it is possible to make a certain conclusion. It should be said that to be successful this campaign should be well organized, with clear structure and goals. Moreover, mass media should be the active members of different events within the framework of this campaign to make it more popular. Participation of powerful international companies is also necessary for them to invest and promote the popularity of the event.
